La Source has set aside 2,500 m2 for care simulation at its premises in Beaulieu. A simulated hospital organised like a real hospital ward and equipped with spaces that faithfully replicate the interiors of flats for practising home care. The realism is striking and is evident both in the hospital wards and in the layout of these flats.
The Simulated Teaching Hospital
Teachers, students thus have access to spacious, well-lit premises, state-of-the-art equipment and spaces designed down to the smallest detail for learning, particularly with simulated patients.
The aim is to enable students to practise the skills, attitudes and behaviours associated with nursing practice in conditions very similar to those they will encounter in their professional practice, with the freedom to make mistakes and without any risk to patients.
