Acting Managing Director of La Source
Véronique de Goumoëns
The Director-General is appointed by the Board of the La Source Foundation, following consultation with the Department of Education and Vocational Training (DEF) and the HES-SO.
The powers of the Director-General and the Management Team are set out in Article 26 of the LHEV.

Strategic entities
The Management Team
Comprising a Chief Executive and two Heads of Department, the Management Team oversees the school’s educational, academic, administrative and financial affairs. It determines the structure and operation of the institution.
The Management Team is supported by an extended Management Board and a senior management team responsible in particular for the following areas:
Quality and risk management
Communication
International affairs
Innovation
The Representative Council
As a deliberative body, it gives its preliminary opinion on proposals from the Management submitted to the department with a view to drawing up the cantonal plan of action and the draft budget. It considers the annual report, adopts the rules of procedure and may issue recommendations on any matter relating to the school.
It comprises 10 representatives:
5 members of the teaching and research staff with a three-year term, renewable once
2 members of the administrative and technical staff with a three-year term, renewable once
3 students with a one-year term, renewable twice

Head of the Missions Department
Co-ordinating the three core missions of higher education institutions – teaching, research and the transfer of expertise – this department is organised around several key areas: Foundation Year in Health, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Postgraduate continuing education, Research and innovation, and Services.
Bruno Robalo
Head of the Faculty Department
This department actively contributes to the generation of new knowledge in the field of health and to its application in clinical practice and training programmes, thereby addressing current and future public health challenges.
Patrick Lauper
Head of the Administrative Department
Comprising the Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Information Systems, Infrastructure and General Services departments, the library (CEDOC) and the Archives, this department manages, organises and coordinates the majority of cross-functional services.
